Good morning highly favoured of the Lord

Genesis 12:2-3 “I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. “

What an incredible promise to Abram. What a rich promise full of God’s blessing and favour. I believe that much of this promise is what God wants to do in and through all of us as children of Abraham; as God’s own sons and daughters.

‘I will make you into a great nation’: Greatness does not come from the strength of our own hand; it comes from God. We need God to guide and direct us in our daily choices and we need Him to empower what we do which should always be as a result of hearing His voice.

‘I will bless you’: Now that’s a promise I want! I want my life to be covered with the fingerprints of God’s blessing. I have a sense of God getting behind all that I do and blessing it because I’m His child, He authored it and He loves me. Blessed by God
