#655 – Life God Intends

Good morning those directed by God’s Holy Spirit

Genesis 11:31 Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram, and together they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to Canaan. But when they came to Haran, they settled there.

It’s too easy to settle for the way life is rather than the life God intends.

Many wonderful people, serving and loving God, settle in the comfort of ‘what it is’ rather than living fluidly with the continual prayer of “What next Father?”

I realize it is all too easy for me to settle into what I know, what I’m comfortable with, what I’ve always done. Many of the good things in our lives can be the greatest enemy of new things God has planned for us.

Isaiah 43:19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.

I encourage you to ask the Holy Spirit to examine all you do over the next week through the filter of “Is this God’s best intention for me right now?” and “Is there something new God that you have for me?” He loves you. He will lead you and guide you.
