Good morning people who love God
Genesis 6:8-9 But Noah found favour in the eyes of the Lord. This is the account of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God.
What a wonderful description of Noah. I would love this to be what God and others say about me.
I want to find favour in the eyes of God. I want to walk in a way that He is glorified. I want to search for Him with all my heart. I want to understand His ways. I want to know His heart.
I want to walk with integrity with people. I want to be a man who lives what I preach. I want my word to be enough. I want to be an accurate reflection of the God I love and serve. I want to be a sign post that points people to God.
I want to do my best to live at peace with all people. I want to not give the enemy a reason to boast or people a reason to doubt. I want to be in right standing with God and man.
I want to walk with God. I don’t want to simply know about God; I want to know God. In fact, every day I want to know Him more. I want to walk with Him and talk with Him. I want to listen and hear His voice. I want revelation from His Word. I want to walk in truth and love.
Would you join me today by recommitting your life to intentionally pursuing the above? Our lives are not our own; we have been bought with a price. Let’s honour Him by how we live. May our lives be trophies of grace. May our lives bring the King pleasure and delight.
