Good morning confident people of God
Joshua 5:13 Now when Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him with a drawn sword in his hand. Joshua went up to him and asked, “Are you for us or for our enemies?”
Joshua encountered an obstacle in his path. As we journey life, you and I will also face some obstacles.
What will our response be? Will we shrink back in fear and intimidation? Or will we move forward confidently, knowing our authority in God?
Joshua did the later. He ‘went up to him’ and he ‘asked’ him a question of identification. He needed to know how to handle this obstacle so he acted intentionally and confidently.
How we view and face obstacles is the issue in our lives, not the obstacle itself. Obstacles really are an opportunity for God to do something supernatural. Obstacles are an opportunity to become more God-dependent and focused. Obstacles are an opportunity to bring more glory to God as a result of our response and faith. Obstacles can become our greatest milestones and life-illustrations of victory.
What obstacles are you facing? How are you approaching them and what are you speaking about them and to them?
