Good morning people who are live out of the box

A few days ago I mentioned Joshua empowering the priests to be the conduit for the miraculous. Let’s look at this a little further.

God doesn’t always do the same things in the same way. We all want God to do the miraculous, the supernatural, but are we ready for God to do it a different way than He did it last time? He may not…but He may. If we are not open to God doing what He wants, however He wants, then we may miss God’s moving altogether.

I know that I would have been uncomfortable with a lot of the things in the Bible. Would I have missed what God was doing? If God did something a certain way once, would I miss the second time because I assumed He would do it the same way again?

Remember Moses lifted up his rod and parted the Red Sea. God had a different plan for the parting of the Jordan under Joshua’s leadership.
