Good morning people who release others to step out
Joshua 3:8 (God speaking to Joshua) Tell the priests who carry the ark of the covenant: “When you reach the edge of the Jordan’s waters, go and stand in the river.”
Moses was the one who held out his staff and the Red Sea parted. He did it because God told him to. He was the man for that particular miracle.
Joshua could have easily thought that if God wanted the Jordan parted, He would ask Joshua to do it. But that was not what happened.
God told Joshua to release the priests to go and stand in the river. They carried the presence of God. They were ones who were called and equipped. God recognised it and Joshua accepted it.
I love the thought of a secure leader that empowers and releases others to achieve great things for God. I love the fact that God instructed Joshua to release others to step out into the unknown and become a conduit for the miraculous!
Are there people with untapped potential around you?
Are you listening to God to see who He wants released into greater things?
A great leader is secure enough to release others and empowers them to greatness.
