Good morning people who promote God

Joshua 3:7 And the Lord said to Joshua, “Today I will begin to exalt you in the eyes of all Israel, so they may know that I am with you as I was with Moses.

Here’s the focus of this verse: so they may know that I (God) am with you as I (God) was with Moses.

It’s not about exalting Joshua and Moses so that people can be impressed by them but that they may see God in them; the same God in both of them.

It’s all about God. Your life is about God. We are created by God and for God. When we succeed, people should be pointed to the God in us. When we love people selflessly, people should be pointed to the God who motivates us. When we create new things, people should be pointed to the Creator who dwells within us. When we lead people forward in an empowering way, people should be pointed to the greatest Leader of all. It’s all about God.

When we get recognition for what we have done, who gets the glory?

2 Samuel 22:1,36 David sang to the Lord the words of this song when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all the enemies and from the hand of Saul…You give me Your shield of victory; You stoop down to make me great.

David was known as a mighty warrior but he continually pointed people back to the God who gave the victory.
