Good morning people who believe God loves and cares for your family.

Exodus 3:13-15 NIV Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?” God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ “This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation.”

God declaring Himself to be “I am who I am” is sufficient. Nothing else needs to be said as this covers everything.

And yet God did add one more description to His name for Moses to tell the Israelites. This name was significant then, and it is equally significant now.

God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ “This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation.”

God said, “I am who I am”, and God also said, “I am a generational God who keeps My covenant with people.”

God cares about your family because He is the Author of family. This is why the devil hates families so much and he wants to destroy them. So, keep praying for your family, loving them and blessing them.

God cares about keeping covenant too. Again, this is why the devil is trying to destroy covenants with family and with marriage. Don’t buy into his lie that something else is better. God’s way is best.

God saved His people because of the covenant that He had made with Abraham.

I pray that we will see our families saved for the glory of God because our God is a covenant keeping God.
