Good morning people who are divinely placed by God for kingdom purpose.
Exodus 3:1-4 NIV Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.” When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!” And Moses said, “Here I am.”
As I meditate on this scripture that Father highlighted to me, the first thing I see is this:
God encountered Moses and commissioned him while he was serving his father-in-law.
Your present position of serving is a great place for Father to meet with you and speak to you!
Sometimes we falsely believe that we are somehow going to miss out on God’s best because of our present location. We subconsciously are unsure if God knows where we are and if we can get His attention.
God knows where you are, God sees you and God wants to meet with you!
Serving others faithfully is one of the very things that Father uses to fulfil His plans and His purpose in and through our lives.
Now, it’s important to note, that while God sometimes moves us on to something else (like He did with Moses), at other times His desire is for us to continue to glorify Him in our present position. God is not a God of stepping-stones.
How faithfully are you serving God in your present position?
