Good morning people who love and bless someone else every day.
One of the instructions from Father for me this year is this:
One person a day.
When Father spoke this to my heart, I instantly knew what He meant. Father wants me to intentionally and specifically bless, encourage or equip at least one person every day. What a wonderful word from God!
I invite you to join me in this.
There is something powerful when our focus is on building others up. This is not only true when things are going well for us, but I believe there is a rhema key for us all, especially when we are struggling.
It is so easy to live inward-looking. It is so easy to slide down a slippery slope of self-focus. But blessing someone else is one of the best antidotes to this!
Here’s a few scriptures that are fuel for this kingdom initiative:
Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 NIV Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Proverbs 16:24 NIV Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
Who can you bless and encourage today?
