Good morning people who believe that things can be different than what you experienced.

Genesis 43:34 NIV When portions were served to them from Joseph’s table, Benjamin’s portion was five times as much as anyone else’s. So they feasted and drank freely with him.

Genesis 45:22 NIV To each of them he gave new clothing, but to Benjamin he gave three hundred shekels of silver and five sets of clothes.

Joseph’s difficult journey started at a time when his father showed him favouritism over his brothers. They saw this and it caused jealousy in them.

Now, twenty-two years later, Joseph is doing the same thing with Benjamin over his other brothers.

I want to encourage us to not perpetuate the problem that caused us pain in the first place.

We have all heard stories of people who have continued the very behaviour that they had previously despised. Habits can be hard to break and what we have observed can shape the way that we do things.

But I declare by the Spirit of God that there is a better way!

Galatians 2:20 NIV I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

We are not who we used to be!

We are not who we were programed to be!

We are not the product of our past experiences!

By the power of the Holy Spirit, we can do things differently!
