Today’s BIY is just about enlarging our vision of God and what He chooses to do. Please read on.

Genesis 41:25 NIV Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dreams of Pharaoh are one and the same. God has revealed to Pharaoh what he is about to do.”

Genesis 41:28 NIV “It is just as I said to Pharaoh: God has shown Pharaoh what he is about to do.”

Genesis 41:32 NIV “The reason the dream was given to Pharaoh in two forms is that the matter has been firmly decided by God, and God will do it soon.”

We have already talked about this recently, but it bears repeating because the Bible has repeated it and we need to hear it.

God can speak to whoever He wants. He doesn’t need our permission to do so, nor does He need our approval.

God speaks to unbelievers all the time. It is true that many do not know it is God speaking, but He is speaking more than we think. As I’ve said before, no one has ever been saved except that God spoke to them and draw them to Himself. Therefore, every person who is now saved was spoken to by God when they were unsaved!

I love how many times Joseph tells Pharaoh that God has revealed to Pharaoh what He is about to do. Joseph is constantly pointing this heathen king towards God. Joseph never promotes himself and his gifts. Oh, how we need to do this more and more as believers!

And then Joseph brings a great insight to Pharaoh about the prophetic dreams he had received from God. When God brings a dream in two forms, it is because the matter has been firmly decided by God and He will do it soon. God is really good at getting people’s attention, and He is really good at accomplishing His desired will on earth as it is in heaven.
