#599 – Different Seasons

Good morning people that understand seasons

Joshua 1:12-15 But to the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joshua said, “Remember the command that Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: ‘The Lord your God is giving you rest and has granted you this land.’ Your wives, your children and your livestock may stay in the land that Moses gave you east of the Jordan, but all your fighting men, fully armed, must cross over ahead of your brothers until the Lord gives them rest, as He has done for you, and until they too have taken possession of the land that the Lord your god is giving them. After that, you may go back and occupy your own land, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you east of the Jordan toward the sunrise.”

Not all the Israelites had to cross the Jordan to possess the new land; some had already been given land, and as a result, their families were able to enjoy a season of rest now.

Some of you, or maybe some people you know, are already in their place of rest (a place to settle down) while others are yet to possess.

If you are one of those who are in your place of rest, then I pray that this season is incredibly refreshing and is a welcome blessing to the wandering in the wilderness that you might have faced. I sincerely and deeply pray God’s richest and most amazing blessing on you, your family and all that you do. Enjoy your rest…but keep in mind a special P.S. from me in tomorrow’s BIY (you’ll have to wait).

For those who see people in this place, rejoice with them even though you may not be there yet. Your season is coming. Don’t get frustrated with those who are in a different season to you; they too have had challenging seasons. It’s their time and it will be yours soon.
