Good morning people who God is with at all times

When we are moving forward into new territory, we have two major enemies that will try to hold us back. These are common foes to many and I pray God sets you free by the truth of His Word.

Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Two of our greatest enemies in life are fear and discouragement. Have you ever felt these? Are you feeling them now? I have felt both and I know how strong they can be in our lives. They appear to be impossible foes to overcome; it seems like they are ‘beyond our control’. But they aren’t.

Fear (or worry) is focused thinking on the negative things that could happen. We are instructed in this passage to not allow ourselves to do this. This is so difficult to do because circumstances and feelings can be so convincing.

The antidote to fear is faith and faith is based in what God’s Word says. The passage above gives us the greatest key to overcoming fear and that is the promise that the Lord our God is with us wherever we go. Think about that for a moment. God Almighty will never leave us or forsake us; He is for us and not against us; He knows exactly what He is doing and He can be trusted
