Good morning people who find strength in God

God had just told Joshua that it was a new day and He was going to give them every place they stood upon, He was going to enlarge their territory, no one would be able to stand against them and He would be with them as He was with Moses.

These are incredible promises from God! Surely from here life would be easy…

Yet God would say to us today, the same thing that was said three times to Joshua.

Joshua 1:6,7,9 Be strong and courageous…be strong and very courageous…Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.

God has given you promises and spoken things into your heart. God is faithful to His promises but they don’t always come about easily. We must understand and accept this otherwise doubt starts to creep in and it is too easy to become disappointed and disillusioned.

There is a need to stay in faith. There is a need to persevere. There is a need to focus on the right things. There is a need to guard our hearts. There is a need to make a decision to be strong and courageous.

Life is not always easy but I remind you of these words.

Joshua 1:5 …I will never leave you nor forsake you.
