Good morning people who God wants to bless

Joshua 1:3,6 I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses…Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them.

God has already promised us many things in His Word. Once promised, our need is not to beg or ask from the perspective of ‘I hope it’s His will’ but rather walk forward in faith and declare ‘it is so’.

Healing has been promised; we can stand upon God’s Word. All our needs being met has been promised; we can stand upon God’s Word. Authority over the enemy for a submitted Believer has been promised; we can stand upon God’s Word. Jesus building His Church has been promised; we can stand upon God’s Word. Receiving wisdom from God has been promised; we can stand upon God’s Word. Living in peace when we keep our minds fixed on Jesus has been promised; we can stand upon God’s Word. Having joy in God’s Presence has been promised; we can stand upon God’s Word. Being blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places has been promised; we can stand upon God’s Word. Having our steps ordered by the Lord has been promised; we can stand upon God’s Word.

For some of us today, the most important next step in our journey is to know what God’s Word says. This is our source of strength because God’s Word is the truth and our freedom comes from knowing and living in the truth.

True faith is based in hearing what God has said and holding onto it without wavering. May we all be people who live in faith this year and walk forward in the promises already given to us in God’s Word.
