#5819 – Searching For Jesus

Good morning people who believe that every person has a need for God.

Mark 1:36-37 NIV Simon and his companions went to look for him, and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!”

“Everyone is looking for You Jesus!” This statement strikes me today.

I am drawn towards the scripture we looked at a few days ago. Here it is again:

Matthew 9:37-38 NIV Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

People are more open to the gospel than we realise.

Everyone means everyone, and this is exactly how many people need an encounter with God. Every person needs God.

And there is something deep in every person that has a desire for God. I know that this is a big statement, but lean in with me today.

Mankind was created by God for relationship with God. There are no exceptions to this God-ordained desire. We were created for God. Therefore, there must be an innate desire in us for Him, even if it is deeply buried and not even subconsciously known. This is about how we were created.

I know some people who are very closed to God; they have verbalised this clearly. And while this may be their honest belief, it is not their God-given hardwiring. Therefore, I declare over these people: Come alive to your Creator!

May this be a time of increased revelation that leads to salvation and lasting transformation, in Jesus’ name, amen!
