Good morning blessed of the Lord

Listen to the Word of the Lord.

Psalm 84:11-12 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favour and honour; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless. O Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in You.

What a wonderful promise! The whole verse is packed with great things for us but today I want to mention one. Here it is:

‘No good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless’.

Now remember, because of what Christ has done for us through the power of the cross, we stand righteous and blameless before the Father. We are whole, complete and accepted by our God.

Here’s the part that I love. God doesn’t hold anything good back from us! Have you ever thought “God is holding out on me.”? Well He’s not! Everything I need, He gives. Everything good and pleasant, He gives and He gives liberally! He delights to give and to bless and to show favour to His children and He does it extravagantly!

Today, as loved ones of God, let’s walk with a deep conviction, ‘we are blessed with favour and honour and God doesn’t withhold anything good from me’. Wow, what an amazing truth!
