Good morning people God is at work in

Romans 8:29-30 For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.

I love this! You see I don’t have to try and ‘find’ a call for my life. I don’t have to ‘try’ and be good enough and hopefully justify myself before God. I don’t have to, have to, have to…yet for so long I did and maybe you did too.

Look at what it says. God predestined us to be like His Son, God called us, God justified us and God glorified us! This sounds like a whole lot of God to me! I must simply allow Him to do the work in me that He desires to do. I align myself with Him but I don’t force it to happen. Sure I be diligent and ‘make every effort’ but it’s in response to God’s leading and it’s through the power of the Holy Spirit. God has to do it in us!

You might be wondering what ‘justified’ and ‘glorified’ mean. It would be good to know because God has done it for us. Have a look and give Him thanks!

Justified: to show or regard as just or innocent:

– free, justify, be righteous.

Glorified: to esteem glorious: – glorify, full of glory, honour, magnify.

That’s what God has done for us!!!
