Good morning people who do not let your mind rule over your spirit.

Oh, Lord, help us here today!

John 3:10-12 NIV “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?”

Jesus was talking to Nicodemus, a Pharisee who was a ruler of the Jews. He was a man who should have perceived spiritual realities.

And yet, like many others, he struggled to accept what Jesus was saying because he was hearing with natural ears only, and not with spiritual ears to hear. Nicodemus was being led by his mind, and not by the Spirit of God.

How often do we do the same?

It is time to wholeheartedly accept the truth that is plain and clear. If we don’t, how will God ever take us into the deeper spiritual truth that is on His heart to reveal to us.
