Good morning people who love God

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

I pray we all become convinced of this truth that has the power to change our lives. ‘In all things God works for the good of those who…’

Now I often think it should say ‘for the good of those who are perfect’. What would you write in at the end of this sentence? For many it would be based upon performance, how we have been this week, whether we have prayed fervently enough, whether we have done enough good deeds or attended Church recently. But that’s not what the Bible says.

God’s Word, The Truth says, ‘in all things God works for the good of those who love Him’. I don’t know about you, but I read that and say “Wow!” Is this really true God? Will you work for my good in all things if I just love You?

God answers “Yes Steve”. I am God’s child and He delights in me. If you are a Christian, you too are God’s child and He delights in you. I love Him and therefore He says “I will work in all things for your good Steve”.

Do you love Him? If you do, then He will work for the good in all things in your life. Does it sound too good to be true? Well it is true and I pray we will all receive this word by faith and walk in its truth every day of our lives. I love God and He is working for my good in all things.
