Good morning people who live differently than the world.
Psalms 1:1 NKJV Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.
The church is called to look different than the world.
Believers are called to look different than unbelievers.
The ways of a disciple are to look different to the ways of those who don’t know God.
Some would argue that we can learn from and get counsel from unbelievers. On some non-eternal, non-essential issues, this is true.
Therefore, I think it is imperative to see what the writer of this Psalm was saying under the inspiration and direction of God.
I want to lean into each phrase over the next couple of days, but for now, here’s a question to meditate on:
Are your primary wells that you drink from pure or impure?
