Good morning people who are blessed to accurately see Jesus.
Luke 10:23-24 NIV Then he turned to his disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see. For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.”
The greatest blessing is to see God accurately. Everything worthwhile flows from this revelation.
Jesus told Peter that he was blessed when Peter rightly declared that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the Living God.
Isaiah’s life was marked and changed when he had a revelation of the Lord who is high and lifted up.
John wrote the Book of Revelation when he accurately saw the Lord in all of His glory and majesty.
The terrorist Saul was eternally changed when he encountered the resurrected Christ on the Road to Damascus.
It is no small thing to see God clearly! It is the very definition of true spiritual blessing!
Jesus then declared that many prophets and kings wanted to see and hear what the disciples saw and heard, that is, Jesus Himself!
I pray that we do not miss seeing the majesty of Jesus in the days that we live in. May our attention and our affection be continually turned heavenward. May we behold the glory of the King of kings and the Lord of lords!
