Good morning people who actively prepare the way for the Lord to move in power.

Luke 10:1 NIV After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go.

As a disciple of Jesus Christ, you have been appointed by God and sent by God.

Whatever your role, occupation or calling, you are appointed. And this word is so powerful and insightful. It literally means to exhibit. It means the same as the word purpose in Romans 8:28 when it says ‘we are called, according to His purpose.’

In other words, every believer is to be an exhibit of who God is. We are to re-present Jesus to the world through the quality and Christlikeness of our lives. This is our calling. This is what we were predestined for!

And as exhibits of God, we have been sent to prepare the way for the Lord.

Our lives are signposts that point people to God. Our lives are to be salt and light in a crooked and perverse generation. In this world, we are truly meant to be like Jesus.

What conclusion will people make about God today as a result of their encounter with us?
