Good morning people whom God loves

I’m about to share something that may be difficult for many of us to comprehend. You see, many of us struggle with accepting ourselves and liking ourselves. We see our humanity and we know our shortcomings. We wonder how God can tolerate us, let alone enjoy us.

Over the next few days we are going to look at some Scriptures that show just a little of the magnitude of God’s indescribable love, acceptance and delight in us. Understanding and accepting this as we move into another year is possibly the greatest thing that we could do.

Psalm 37:23-24 (The Amplified Bible) The steps of a (good) man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way (and He busies Himself with his every step). Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him.

Wow, what an incredible passage! We need to read the words correctly. When it has a capital ‘H’ in ‘He’ it is talking about the Lord and a small ‘h’ is talking about us.

The first thing I want to share from this passage is the little phrase “He delights in his way’. God Almighty, Creater of all can get delight from us. Today why don’t you thank Him for this and tomorrow let’s look at it a little further.
