#5409 – Our Testimony

Good morning people who focus on what God has brought you through.

Exodus 18:8 NIV Moses told his father-in-law about everything the Lord had done to Pharaoh and the Egyptians for Israel’s sake and about all the hardships they had met along the way and how the Lord had saved them.

This is an interesting sentence structure in this verse above.

Yes, Moses mentions all the hardships they had met along the way, but he does so sandwiched between speaking about everything the Lord had done to Pharaoh and the Egyptians for Israel’s sake, and how the Lord had saved them.

Do you see it?

Sometimes the middle part of this verse gets most of our attention; our conversations can be too much about the hardships we face along the journey of life. I get this as it has been my reality too often as well.

But I wonder if there is a better way. I wonder if this verse could become a beautiful model for our communication.

What has God done for you?

What has God saved you from?

What has God saved you into?

May this get the priority of our conversations today.
