Good morning people who release the Spirit of God into atmospheres and environments.
God loved the world so much that He sent His Son. Jesus walked this earth as a living example of God’s perfect and pure love.
But He also fully demonstrated the power of God. Miracles were normal wherever Jesus went. He released kingdom authority into people’s lives.
We are called and equipped to do the same!
As we share God’s Word with people – from a pulpit or on the streets, with a believer or with a seeker – there is a biblical example that there should be a demonstration of the Spirit’s power accompanying God’s Word.
Here’s a phrase I heard recently in my spirit:
People need an encounter with God, not just good teaching about God.
I love Paul’s words in this scripture below:
1 Corinthians 2:4-5 NIV My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.
People’s faith should not rest in wonderful words that have been spoken. Rather, people should encounter the living and powerful God through us in such a way that He becomes undeniable.
I believe it is time for every believer to ask the Father to fill us with the Holy Spirit and to anoint us with power.
The world needs an encounter with God through you and me.
