Good morning people who have been marked by the goodness of God.
1 Samuel 10:26 NIV Saul also went to his home in Gibeah, accompanied by valiant men whose hearts God had touched.
When stepping into a God-given place of spiritual authority, we would do well to be accompanied by valiant people whose hearts God has touched.
We don’t need the most gifted or talented people walking with us. This is great, but what is better is people who have been marked in a wonderful way by God. By this, I mean people whose hearts have been captured by the beauty, wonder and majesty of God.
This should be the criteria for leadership appointments in the things of God.
Godly character is the right foundation for operating in spiritual gifts. We see this clearly in the following scripture:
1 Corinthians 14:1 NIV Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.
These are days to walk with valiant people. These are also days to be a valiant person yourself.
