Good morning people who encounter Jesus on this day of celebration.

Christmas Day is to be a day of encounter with God Himself. In fact, this is God’s desire for every day of our lives.

The wise men celebrated when they encountered baby Jesus. It was a glorious day and it marked a transition of eras for all mankind. Praise God for the birth of our Saviour and King!

My simple but heartfelt prayer for you today is that you encounter the God of love and that your spiritual eyes are open to see the glory of the Lord.

I pray Father uses the following scripture to awaken something deeper in you to the reality of who God is. I encourage you to meditate on the names used to describe Jesus, and may each one be life, health and strength to you,  

Isaiah 9:6-7 NIV For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.

Thank You Father for the gift of Your Son Jesus. Thank You for the invitation into daily encounter with You.
