Good morning people who fight battles through the power of prophetic words.

I am stirred deeply by the need to know what God has declared prophetically. Yes, God has spoken through His infallible Word – the Bible – but He also still speaks prophetically by His Holy Spirit through people.

Here’s what Paul said to young Timothy:

1 Timothy 1:18-19 NIV Timothy, my son, I am giving you this command in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by recalling them you may fight the battle well, holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith.

We don’t fight flesh and blood, but rather, it is a spiritual battle that we are in. When we recall prophecies – words from God through people – these become weapons that stir our faith.

Prophecies are not just nice or encouraging words. They are not, “Well, I hope this happens.” No! They are declarations from our eternal God who is not limited or bound by time, nor is He restricted to what is humanly possible, logical or reasonable!

It’s time to lift our vision higher! It’s time to go back to what God has said! It’s time to wage war by recalling prophecies that have been made about us!
