Good morning people who find true freedom in the laws and commands of God.
Psalms 119:8-9 NIV I will obey your decrees; do not utterly forsake me. How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.
My dear friends, this is a much needed word in the days that we live in. I pray you hear Father’s heart and that you respond to His love.
Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all for you. They want the best for you and they want you to live in the full measure of the freedom that was purchased for you on Calvary. This is God’s heart for all people.
And yet there is also a very real and non-negotiable law of sowing and reaping. The world thumbs its nose at this thought, but this does not diminish it.
This is not something to fear, but rather, it is something to embrace and to be on the favour and blessing side of in our lives.
The path of purity is only found by living according to God’s Word.
As created sons and daughters of God, we do not determine or have the “right to choose” our sexuality, gender, morality or standards – none whatsoever.
Paul wrote it very clearly in the following verses:
1 Corinthians 6:18-20 NIV Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honour God with your bodies.
It’s time for God’s people to live by God’s standards; it’s time to walk on the path of purity.
