Good morning people who have been sent to the earth for a purpose.

John 17:16-18 NIV “They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.”

The Lord will not let me move off this at the moment. There is deeper revelation to be discovered. There is a deeper way of living for us all.

After Jesus repeatedly said that we are not of this world (kosmos) any more than He is, He then said, “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.’

Jesus was asking His Father to make us holy by the truth. It wasn’t by feelings or facts or fears. It was by truth.

Then His further clarification was, “Your word (logos) is truth.” In other words, what God says is truth.

The very next line is why Jesus laid this all important foundation.

Jesus said to His Father, “As you sent me into the world (kosmos), I have sent them into the world (kosmos).”

If you are sent somewhere, you must first be sent from somewhere. For example, if I am sent to America, I have been sent from my home in Australia. My starting point is not America, it’s Australia.

Jesus was sent to this world (kosmos) from the eternal spiritual reality by His Father.

We have also been sent to this world (kosmos) from the eternal spiritual reality of God’s intention and will – before the foundation of this world (kosmos)!

Your life is very significant to God’s eternal plan!
