Good morning people who bring God glory by finishing your assignment.

John 17:4 NIV “I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.”

Like Jesus with His Father, we can only bring the Father glory on earth by finishing the work that He gave us to do. Divine assignments matter.

Our life is not our own; we have been brought with a price.

We did not create ourselves, therefore, we don’t know what is best for us.

God has a plan for our lives. He wrote the days of our lives in His book before one of them came to pass. And He promises to bring His good work to completion.

But we must actively, intentionally and fully partner with Him on His mission.

One of the most dangerous encouragements we can give to people is that they can do whatever they want to do and be whoever they want to be. It sounds nice, but it is simply not biblical.

Yes, we can make choices – and we must – but the choices that bring God glory are the choices to say YES to the Holy Spirit’s leading in our lives. He will let us know Father’s heart and plan for us as we saturate ourselves in God’s Word and humbly listen to His voice.

God is glorified when we finish the work that He has given us to do.
