Good morning people who saturate yourself in God and His kingdom ways.

John 16:4 NIV “I have told you this, so that when their time comes you will remember that I warned you about them. I did not tell you this from the beginning because I was with you,”

As the title of this BIY says, it’s time to prepare.

But how do we prepare for coming persecution?

We run to God, lean into who He is and feast on Him.

We read the Word, meditate on the Word, study the Word, memorise the Word and allow the Word to become life in us.

We keep first things first, including meeting together with the people of God. We commit to discipleship and having a humble and teachable heart. 

We keep our eyes on eternity and live for the glory of God. We feast on truth that draws us closer to the One whom we will spend forever with.

Honestly, the best way to prepare is to return to living the normal Christian life that Jesus always intended for us as God’s people. His words and His call has not changed. We have drifted, but He has not.

So, it’s time to return to kingdom living. It’s time to return to the words of Jesus:

Matthew 16:24-25 NIV Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.”

It’s time to live for the glory of God.
