Good morning people with God’s power

Matthew 3:11 I baptise you with water for repentance. But after me will come One who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

I believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit produces a power to be God’s witnesses. The baptism of the Holy Spirit happens to us but its purpose has always been to positively affect the world (Acts1:8).

Every Believer at the moment of receiving Jesus is filled with the Holy Spirit; we receive God into our hearts and God doesn’t divide Himself up into portions. What wonderful news! But there is a subsequent event that is available and necessary for every Believer and that is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The disciples had received Jesus and were serving Him powerfully BEFORE they were baptised in the Holy Spirit. Once they were baptised, the early church exploded and the Father was glorified.

I pray you all know the joy of the baptism of the Holy Spirit and rejoice in the fruit of it.
