#5146 – God of Clarity

Good morning people who walk in clarity due to the words of Jesus.

John 14:27 NIV “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

I love the truth that Jesus is the Truth. All that He says is right.

When Jesus gives an instruction, there contains within it the power for us to do it. Otherwise, Jesus would not be good, and He most certainly is.

Jesus is also very clear and direct and to the point. It’s one of the many things I absolutely love about Him.

The reason why this is important to meditate on today is because truth is under such assault. Too many times, even as Christians, we say we can’t do something that Jesus tells us to do.

I’m the first to agree that it seems to be unbelievably difficult – I’m not denying that. But this is not true. It can’t be true if Jesus says something different to what I feel, think or experience.

So, let’s look at what Jesus said in this verse above.

He said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

See what I mean – it’s clear, direct and to the point!

And remember, it’s Jesus who said it! Therefore, it is possible! Sure, not by ourselves, but we are not by ourselves!

The following words of the apostle Paul are true for us today when it comes to everything that Jesus has said.

Philippians 4:13 NKJV I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

If Jesus said it, we can do it.

And if you are wondering what Jesus means when He says something, He means what He says. It’s time to settle this truth about the Truth.
