Good morning people who see God clearly

Matthew 3:11 I baptise you with water for repentance. But after me will come One who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptise you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

John had a healthy perspective of him and God. He rightfully knew that God is infinitely greater than he was. He used the illustration of not being worthy to even carry Jesus’ sandals. What a powerful picture.

On one hand we are called by God, seated with Him in Heavenly places and given the privilege of extending God’s Kingdom here on earth! We are privileged to partner under God to see His Church built! Wow!

Yet, we must never forget, that in and of ourselves we are not even worthy to carry His dirty, dusty sandals; the lowest of the low. Yet because of His love, mercy, grace and forgiveness He invites us to partner with Him. Thank You Jesus!
