Good morning people who are destined for glory.

John 14:2 NIV “My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?”

Jesus came to earth to prepare us for eternity.

Jesus’ life on this earth is a model of how we can live life now. The prioritising of His time with His Father is to be reflected in our lives. His dependence on the Holy Spirit in every moment is how we too should live. His love for people is an example for us all to follow.

Jesus is now in heaven preparing a home for us!

If Jesus is preparing something for us, it’s going to be indescribably good beyond words! We are not talking about a great natural craftsman forming something out of wood. We are talking about the eternal Son of God forming a home for us with the Father!

What does it all look like?

I honestly have no idea. Yes, I know the Bible gives us insights into some aspects of the new heaven and the new earth. But honestly, whatever I can naturally imagine is immeasurably insufficient.

The same is true in our view of God Himself. Yes, we know some things about the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and these things are wonderful. But oh, God is so much more!!!

Our best imagination barely scrapes the surface of the beauty, majesty and brilliance of our infinite God!

He is more! What He does is more! What He is preparing is more! God is just more!!
