Good morning highly favoured friends of our Lord and God.
John 14:2 NIV “My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?”
Jesus was never created, but He has a Father. This most definitely fits into the realm of mystery. It also equally fits into the realm of absolute truth.
Jesus constantly drew people’s attention to His Father. I believe that this is the most significant focus of Jesus’ life while He walked the earth. I believe it still remains His highest priority.
In Matthew 6, Jesus instructs us to pray ‘our Father’. He was clearly highlighting who to pray to; not to Himself, but to His Father. But He was also making it very clear that His Father and our Father is the same Father.
Again, this is a mystery too deep to naturally understand, but this is an imperative thought for the world today. The depth of truth about the spiritual reality of God cannot be naturally understood. It’s not that it’s difficult to naturally understand, it’s that it is impossible to naturally understand.
We need revelation from heaven, and the greatest revelation from heaven is Jesus; He is the revelation of the Father. Hebrews 1:3 tells us that Jesus is ‘the exact representation of His (Father’s) being’. As Jesus says in John 14:9, ‘anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father’.
This is such a beautiful truth, and it starts with Jesus pointing us to the Father being His Father as well as our Father. Jesus has a Father and we also have a Father in heaven.
