Good morning people who testify about the good things that God has done.

1 Samuel 12:6-7 NIV Then Samuel said to the people, “It is the Lord who appointed Moses and Aaron and brought your ancestors up out of Egypt. Now then, stand here, because I am going to confront you with evidence before the Lord as to all the righteous acts performed by the Lord for you and your ancestors.”

What an incredibly different focus in this verse to what we often see on social media and to what is heard in many conversations today!

The greater evidence that we should confront people with is not the evidence of what they have done wrong, but it is the evidence of all the righteous acts that the Lord has done!

Imagine the possibilities if we had a permanent shift in focus. Where our eyes our conversations and our attention remained on God and His goodness, rather than on people and their downfalls.

It truly is time to talk about God more.

It is time to talk about all the wonders that He has done and that He continues to do.

It is time to magnify and glorify God.

It is time to be signposts that point people towards the God of love.

It’s time to put down stones that are being aimed at people, and it’s time to tell stories about the goodness and kindness of God.

It’s time for a shift of focus.
