Good morning encouraging people

Hebrews 3:13 But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called Today, lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

What we need in the world today is a lot more encouragement. There’s seldom enough. It is so easy to do and it is so powerful yet it is often not done because we rush on with our day or maybe it’s because we take things for granted.

Today you can be a source of encouragement to every person you meet. You really can and it’s not that difficult. Look for something nice to say. Look for something specific to commend. Take the time to stop and smile and why not be radical; say hello to a stranger! When someone does something that is part of their job, sincerely thank them anyway; don’t take anyone for granted. Be joyful, be positive, be bright and be thankful.

And why not do it tomorrow too! In fact, why not do it day after day; make it a lifestyle. Look for opportunities; they are all around you and many times they won’t be taken unless you take them.

One last thing and that is go the extra mile. It’s great to speak encouragement when you are with people but why not write someone a card or a letter just to encourage them? Remember to be specific. You could go even further and do it anonymously! Buy someone a gift just to bless them. Pay for someone’ meal anonymously. There are endless possibilities to encourage and bless and heaps of them have your name on them.
