Good morning people who keep yourself in the foundational truth of freedom.
I have written about freedom many times, and I’m going to write about it again today. The reason for this is, God keeps bringing me back to this truth that He desires me to live from. I know it in part, but there are deeper realities that He wants me to receive divine revelation on, and from this place, to truly walk in His desired freedom. I believe He wants this for you too.
From the beginning, freedom was our created, legal, rightful position. We were created by God, from God, and for God. We carried His DNA, His image, His likeness. We were complete, lacking nothing, and wholly acceptable to our perfect Father.
Yes, making wrong choices based on listening to and being led by the wrong voice, corrupted this. Sin separates – that’s what it does.
So, the Father sent His one and only son Jesus Christ, to live for us and to die for us. The purpose was to return us to God’s original. Freedom is to be found again in Jesus Christ – not as a goal, but as our starting position IN CHRIST!
This commonly quoted verse is as true today as it was the day that the Spirit of God breathed it into Paul’s heart. May it be like liquid love to you today.
Galatians 5:1 NIV It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
I want you to read this highlighted part slowly, out loud, over yourself:
It is for freedom that Christ has set me free.
Read it again, and again, and again. State it as the truth and let it sink past your perceived reality and become the divine truth that God intends.
It is for freedom that Christ has set me free.
May we walk in the freedom of Christ today as we enjoy the Father’s smile on us.
