Good morning people whose standards come from the Lord God Almighty.

Ephesians 5:3 NIV But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.

Here’s a newsflash for many today:

The world’s standards and God’s standards are not the same! They are not even close!

So, why are too many Christians living by the standards of the world?

Because they are listening to and being led by the wrong voice.

So, ask yourself some questions today:

Who told you that God doesn’t mean what He said in His Word?

Who told you that it’s ok to leave your husband or your wife just because you feel like it?

Who told you that it’s ok to sleep with someone who you are not married to?

Who told you that if it feels good then it’s ok?

Destruction is the result of living by the world’s standards. Sure, there may be pleasure in the moment, and you might appear to “get away with it” for some time. But do not be deceived, destruction – natural and spiritual – is the result!

Galatians 6:7-8 NIV Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

It’s time to choose wisely and to walk in God’s intended life. It’s time to listen to and to be led by God’s voice.
