Good morning people who make choices now that affect a lifetime.
Psalms 119:112 NIV My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.
My heart is greatly stirred for the church right now. By the church, I mean you and me; the Ekklesia; those who are called out by God.
This is not a calling out that exposes. It’s not about naming and shaming.
This is a calling out of death into life, out of darkness into light, out of hopelessness into hope, out of bondage into freedom, out of surviving into thriving!
One of the marks of the church is a people who have their heart set on keeping God’s decrees to the very end.
I’ve said it many times, and I no doubt will say it many more, truth is under assault by an enemy who is relentless in trying to destroy all that is good and godly.
Therefore, we need to know the truth! We need revelation of the truth! We need a holy commitment before God to keep the truth as the compass of our life! We need to obey the truth!
And so we come back to our word set again. This is deliberate, permanent and immovable.
God is looking for some people who wholeheartedly declare: My heart is set on keeping your decrees to the very end.
And then we persevere in doing so, regardless of the cost. This pleases God and this changes lives.
