#5007 – God the Gift

Good morning people who have received the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Galatians 3:2-3 TPT So answer me this: Did the Holy Spirit come to you as a reward for keeping Jewish laws? No, you received him as a gift because you believed in the Messiah. Your new life began when the Holy Spirit gave you a new birth. Why then would you so foolishly turn from living in the Spirit by trying to finish by your own works?

We didn’t deserve receiving God as our Saviour, Lord, King and friend. In fact, we deserved death and separation.

But God the Father gave us the most precious gift of His son as Saviour and His Holy Spirit as a constant companion. What a beautiful gift!

We were not saved by keeping the law. No, we received God’s gift – God the gift.

Many accept this is how our faith journey started, and that is wonderful. But I believe today, Father wants us to receive a deeper revelation that this is exactly how we are meant to continue our faith journey – in the spirit.

Works didn’t save us – Jesus did through the person of the Holy Spirit.

Works don’t sustain us – the spirit of Jesus does as we follow His lead.

Works don’t complete us – walking with the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit will be what empowers us to cross the finish line in a way that glorifies God.

God is our greatest Gift.
