Good morning people who love God’s Word

I’ve spoken many times about the preciousness of God’s Word. I will speak many more times about it over the years because it is so vitally essential to us living lives that honour God. Our view of God’s Word determines how we receive God’s Word and how we receive God’s Word determines what we do with God’s Word. Do you share King David’s sentiments about God’s Word?

Psalm 19:7-11 The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb. By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

May we read God’s Word more and may we meditate on the truths found in it. May we also have the wisdom to know how to apply what we know to our daily lives.
