Good morning people who enter into abundant life that is found in Jesus Christ.

God did not die so that we could be perfect in ourselves. He died so that we can be free in Christ Jesus!

Galatians 5:1 NIV It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.

There it is and it’s very clear: Freedom is the reason that Christ has set us free! It’s always about taking us back to God’s original intention.

Did you know that there has always been a divine connection between God’s commands and God’s freedom?

Genesis 2:16-17 NIV And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”

God created us into a state of freedom! This was not about us doing whatever we wanted to do. This was and is about us living fully alive by living according to God’s loving and clear commands.

The only reason God told man to not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was to keep man free from death! This is freedom!

God is our protector and His desire is for us to walk in His freedom. It is found in obeying His commands because His ways are always best.
