Good morning people who do not rely on your own understanding.

Hebrews 11:6 NIV And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

It is impossible to please God without faith.

We live in a time when people have modified this clear truth to now read:

Without understanding it is impossible to please God.

Actually, to please God is removed from the lips of too many altogether.

Now the pursuit of many – saved and unsaved – is just understanding. This has become the goal, and people pride themselves on what they know. I’ll go as far as to say that understanding (knowledge) has become an idol to many.

Let me bring a word of realignment:

Faith pleases God, not understanding.

In fact, we are told to not rely on our own understanding. This command has not changed.

So, what does faith that pleases God actually look like?
