Good morning people who lean into Father through the trials of life.
Father, I thank You for trials to overcome.
John 16:33 NIV “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Thank You Father for trials to overcome.
What a weird thing to write.
But I am having a deeper revelation that the trials are invitations into deeper intimacy with and dependence on God.
The darkness is an invitation to experience the nearness of God; the light of His presence.
When other things don’t satisfy or meet the deepest needs, we are positioned to experience God even more.
But we must lean in and turn our attention to Him. There must be a reaching out and a laying hold of God Himself.
Reading the Bible isn’t enough – we need to meet with God.
Dear friends, never forget that ‘in Christ’ means that we are hidden in and safe in Christ. These are not mere words – this is divine truth.
