#4974 – Being My Father

Good morning people who are dearly loved children of a wonderful Father.

Father, I thank You for being my Father.

1 John 3:1 NIV See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

Romans 8:15-16 NIV The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

You being God is awesome, but You being my Father makes it intimate and personal.

Thank You Father that You are a loving Father, a faithful Father, a Father who is fully for me.

I see You taking my hand and walking with me.

I see myself looking up into Your loving eyes, as we both smile with joy and delight.

I even see us skipping and dancing together.

You are my Father and I am Your son, and for this I am most grateful.
